EODev signs an distribution agreement in Canada with Aspectair

Bright prospects for EODev's development
As Canada embarks on a new national environmental strategy based on carbon neutrality by 2050, hydrogen is emerging as a key element in meeting this commitment. With the potential to produce green hydrogen through hydroelectricity in Quebec, wind power in Alberta and numerous facilities to capture and store carbon for the production of blue hydrogen, Canada is emerging as a new player to be reckoned with on the international stage.
It is against this backdrop that EODev and Aspectair have signed a distribution agreement for electro-hydrogen solutions.
The agreement between the two companies aims to enable the marketing and deployment of the GEH2®, EODev's hydrogen fuel cell power generator designed to produce energy to support or replace the existing grid.
With 25 years' experience in the design and manufacture of equipment for the energy industry, mining, forestry, recycling, etc., Aspectair is now opening up to the distribution of sustainable technologies. This is a logical extension of its activities and a further step towards responsible innovation.
"It is with great pride that we enter into this partnership as the official distributor of hydrogen solutions developed by EODev. This cutting-edge technology embodies the future of clean energy production. We are convinced that it is the natural - and necessary - evolution of traditional diesel generators. This change reflects our desire to remain at the forefront of innovation and to offer our customers high-performance, responsible and sustainable solutions. EODev is a solid, recognised partner in the hydrogen sector, and this alliance reinforces the legitimacy of our approach."- Éric Steben, Vice-President, Aspectair
With a national ambition of $50 billion generated by the hydrogen economy by 2050, Canada is a key market for EODev's development. In high-emission sectors such as steel, cement, refining and mobility, GEH2® offers a concrete solution for decarbonisation.
By replacing diesel generators with solutions powered by low-carbon, local hydrogen, EODev's proven technology is fully in line with Canada's climate objectives.
EODev's proven technology is therefore fully in line with Canada's climate objectives.
"This distribution contract marks an important step in our international expansion. By teaming up with Aspectair, we are combining their technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Canadian market with our hydrogen know-how. Together, we are convinced that we can respond effectively to today's sustainability challenges. Our solutions have a place in many sectors and are perfectly aligned with Canada's environmental ambitions."- Stéphane Jardin, Deputy Managing Director, EODev
