Launch of a new hybrid and zero-emission offer

Nanni, EODev and EVE System partnering

Nanni, European specialist in marine energy, EODev and EVE System, its subsidiary with 25 years of expertise in battery system architecture and electric and hybrid propulsion, are joining forces.

Together, they are building a new offering for the European nautical market by pooling their know-how and expertise.

The goal is to offer shipyards, shipowners, and yacht owners a new generation of hybrid and zero-emission solutions suitable for both large pleasure boats and commercial vessels. Each company will contribute in its own way to offering a new, more environmentally friendly and sustainable model.

Nanni brings its longstanding experience as an integrator of propulsion and energy solutions in the marine sector, backed by its international distribution network. With 70 years of experience in the nautical industry, the Italian company stands out both for its prestigious partnerships (MAN, Kubota, Toyota, John Deere, Scania) and its production capacity of 2,500 engines and generators per year

EVE System brings 25 years of expertise in the design and manufacture of customized battery solutions and on-board electronic systems, from BMS to control systems. With extensive experience in hybridization, the company develops battery systems that are widely used in the maritime industry. Nearly a thousand ships are already equipped with its reliable and high-performance solutions.

Finally, EODev brings its expertise in the integration of hybrid and hydrogen systems, with the REXH2, its marine generator recently certified TAC by Bureau Veritas, and its land-based solutions: the GEH2 and BESSTIE battery pack, designed to power port infrastructure.

The service offering for commercial vessels and the yachting industry will consist of:

All-in-one systems for hotel load, combining energy storage, hybrid generators (diesel/HVO), and smart management modes to reduce noise and emissions at anchor or while sailing.

Zero-emission hydrogen systems, integrating EODev’s REXH2® certified marine fuel cell system (TAC).

Solutions for port infrastructure, integrating electro-hydrogen generators and marine-grade BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) to power yachts at berth, terminals, and port services without emissions.
