LOXAM to hire out first hydrogen power generator GEH2® by EODev
LOXAM group, the equipment rental market leader, is continuing to pursue the environmental and energy transition of its equipment fleet towards low emissions by signing a partnership with the French specialist in hydrogen power solutions EODev (Energy Observer Developments).
Always on the lookout for innovative powertrain alternatives to all-diesel or petrol, and with its committed environmental approach, LOXAM becomes the first rental company to offer this principle of zero emission temporary electricity generation offering a capacity of 100 kVA, with the new hydrogen power generator EODev–GEH2®.
EODev confirms its ambitions to quickly become a leading player in industrial developments linked to energy transition by acquiring a stake in EVE System, based in Lyon. A specialist in design and integration of on-board intelligence and battery systems for the past 20 years, EVE System will benefit from this long-term strategic and technological link-up to accelerate its development.
EODev and Eneria have just signed an agreement for the distribution and maintenance of the GEH2® hydrogen power-generators and the REXH2® range extenders developed by EODev. After the industrialization contract for the GEH2® signed early September, this new agreement confirms the excellence of EODev's project and the performance of the GEH2® which has been in operation on the industrial site of Eneria in Montlhéry for the past six weeks.
HYNOVA Yachts and EODev unveiled on Wednesday September 23, 2020 the RangeExtender H2 (REXH2®) solution selected by HYNOVA for the energy supply of its future HYNOVA 40, whose The New Era prototype was presented at the Yacht Club de Monaco as part of the of the Monaco Capital of Yachting Experience event. This presentation illustrated the conference held on Tuesday, September 22, on hydrogen as an alternative to diesel for carbon-free maritime mobility.

EODev raises 20M € for the industrialization of its solutions
Thanks to a first funding campaign in mid-2019, EODev was able to set up its operational structure, sign its first strategic agreements and contracts, finance and design prototypes. Today, EODev announces the completion of its initial fundraising campaign, for a total amount of €20 million. It strengthens its role as one of the innovative players in the French hydrogen sector, whose growth is now listed as a government priority. This funding will accelerate the industrialization and commercialization of sustainable, reliable, innovative and accessible energy solutions. EODev's products address the entire energy chain: medium power electro-hydrogen generators (GEH2®); on-board hydrogen energy systems (REXH2®) for maritime and river use (propulsion and life on board), and floating mobile stations (STSH2) for the production and distribution of green hydrogen.

EODev presents its REXH2 onboard a prototype from Hynova Yachts
Energy Observer Developments (EODev) will attend the next Cannes Yachting Festival from September 8 to 13, 2020 to present its REXH2 (Range Extender Hydrogen) solution, integrated for the first time in a vessel other than Energy Observer: a Hynova 40 prototype developed with Hynova Yachts, the first production electro-hydrogen boat to be launched on the market.
