  • EODev powers the first pleasure craft with hydrogen propulsion

Start-up company EODev has powered the first pleasure craft HYNOVA 40 with its onboard REXH₂® (Range Extender Hydrogen) genset. HYNOVA 40 is the first production model with electro-hydrogen propulsion in the world of tenders / dayboats approved for cruising, using hydrogen stored on board to navigate without CO₂ emissions, NOx or SOx, noise pollution, and no risk of diesel fuel leaks.

  • EODev lights up the Eiffel Tower thanks to carbon-free hydrogen

On the occasion of the Energy Observer exhibition, from May 20 to 30, 2021 on the Champ de Mars in Paris, the start-up EODev presents its electro-hydrogen generator GEH₂® without emissions or fine particles and replaces diesel generators to supply energy to the exhibition village.

The highlight of the event took place on the evening of May 25, 2021, with the use of the GEH₂® as a substitute to the city of Paris electricity grid to light the Eiffel Tower with a beautiful and highly symbolic green hue. For the first time in more than 130 years, a clean solution has enabled the illumination of the most visited monument in the world.

  • EODev+NepTech, winners Call for Innovation “Paris 2024 Mobility”

Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, Minister Delegate in charge of Transport, named NepTech and EODev amongst the winners of the “Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 Mobilities” call for innovations in the New Mobilities & Active Mobilities category, “River” section, thanks to their project to design and operate passenger shuttles equipped with a hydrogen propulsion system on the Seine river and in Marseille during JOP 2024.

The innovative ships designed by NepTech for transporting passengers on the Seine and in Marseille will be equipped with EODev hydrogen solutions, developed in collaboration with Toyota.

EODev’s STSH2 river and maritime hydrogen distribution station, one of whose strengths is to be self-propelled, will be anchored as close as possible to the Olympic venues. NepTech is responsible for the naval design of the refueling station.

  • Fountaine Pajot chooses EODev for its hydrogen powered yachts

As part of its strategic development plan, called Odyssea 2024, Fountaine Pajot is launching the first project integrating alternative energy solutions into its range of sailing catamarans and has chosen EODev’s hydrogen technology. Fountaine Pajot’s ambition is to combine the power supply of its 59-foot sailing catamaran, SAMANA 59′, with EODev’s hydrogen power generator, REXH₂®. This system will then be integrated by Alternatives Energies, partner of EODev, ideally located in La Rochelle, just a stone’s throw away from the Fountaine Pajot shipyard.

  • EODev strengthens its position with Toyota’s investment

After raising €20M last September, EODev, a young innovative SME, industrializing solutions to accelerate the energy transition, continues its development by announcing the investment of TOYOTA, the world’s leading car manufacturer and a pioneer in hydrogen mobility with the launch of the Mirai sedan in 2014. EODev and Toyota thus confirm their common will to meet energy needs with reliable, sustainable, efficient, and affordable solutions.

  • LOXAM to hire out first hydrogen power generator GEH₂® by EODev

LOXAM group, the equipment rental market leader, is continuing to pursue the environmental and energy transition of its equipment fleet towards low emissions by signing a partnership with the French specialist in hydrogen power solutions EODev (Energy Observer Developments).

Always on the lookout for innovative powertrain alternatives to all-diesel or petrol, and with its committed environmental approach, LOXAM becomes the first rental company to offer this principle of zero emission temporary electricity generation offering a capacity of 100 kVA, with the new hydrogen power generator EODev-GEH₂®.

  • EODev invests into EVE System

EODev confirms its ambitions to quickly become a leading player in industrial developments linked to energy transition by acquiring a stake in EVE System, based in Lyon. A specialist in design and integration of on-board intelligence and battery systems for the past 20 years, EVE System will benefit from this long-term strategic and technological link-up to accelerate its development.

  • EODev and ENERIA take a new step forward

EODev and Eneria have just signed an agreement for the distribution and maintenance of the GEH₂® hydrogen power-generators and the REXH₂® range extenders developed by EODev. After the industrialization contract for the GEH₂® signed early September, this new agreement confirms the excellence of EODev’s project and the performance of the GEH₂® which has been in operation on the industrial site of Eneria in Montlhéry for the past six weeks.

  • EODev and HYNOVA Yachts exhibit in Monaco

HYNOVA Yachts and EODev unveiled on Wednesday September 23, 2020 the RangeExtender H(REXH₂®) solution selected by HYNOVA for the energy supply of its future HYNOVA 40, whose The New Era prototype was presented at the Yacht Club de Monaco as part of the of the Monaco Capital of Yachting Experience event. This presentation illustrated the conference held on Tuesday, September 22, on hydrogen as an alternative to diesel for carbon-free maritime mobility.

  • EODev raises 20M € for the industrialization of its solutions

Thanks to a first funding campaign in mid-2019, EODev was able to set up its operational structure, sign its first strategic agreements and contracts, finance and design prototypes. Today, EODev announces the completion of its initial fundraising campaign, for a total amount of €20 million. It strengthens its role as one of the innovative players in the French hydrogen sector, whose growth is now listed as a government priority. This funding will accelerate the industrialization and commercialization of sustainable, reliable, innovative and accessible energy solutions. EODev’s products address the entire energy chain: medium power electro-hydrogen generators (GEH₂®); on-board hydrogen energy systems (REXH₂®) for maritime and river use (propulsion and life on board), and floating mobile stations (STSH₂®) for the production and distribution of green hydrogen.
