A strategic agreement for hydrogen development
EODev has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Rux Energy, an Australian company developing advanced hydrogen storage solutions, on the sidelines of the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam on 18 May 2026.
The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between the two companies to explore integrated hydrogen storage, transport and power generation solutions for hard-to-abate sectors worldwide.
By combining Rux Energy’s MOF-enabled hydrogen storage technology with EODev’s hydrogen power systems, the partnership aims to support the deployment of safer, more efficient and commercially scalable zero-emission energy solutions across applications including maritime and ports, construction and off-grid power, rail, mining, data centres and heavy industry.
The collaboration framework includes joint engineering work, safety testing, certification pathways, pilot projects, business development initiatives and participation in government-funded programmes designed to accelerate the deployment of hydrogen infrastructure.
“We’re excited to collaborate with EODev to help accelerate the deployment of hydrogen-powered energy systems globally,” said Dr Jehan Kanga, Founder and CEO of Rux Energy. “By combining advanced hydrogen storage with proven hydrogen power technologies, we see significant opportunities to unlock safer, more efficient and commercially scalable decarbonisation solutions for industry.”
“Hydrogen deployment will only scale if we address the entire value chain, from safe and efficient storage to reliable power generation on site,” said Stéphane Jardin, CEO of EODev. “Rux Energy’s innovative approach to hydrogen storage is highly complementary to EODev’s hydrogen power systems. Through this MoU, we aim to explore integrated solutions that can make zero-emission power more accessible, practical and competitive for demanding applications.”
Together, EODev and Rux Energy aim to contribute to the development of practical hydrogen supply chains and accelerate the adoption of clean, reliable power solutions aligned with global decarbonization goals.
